OPERATING PROCEDURE

PHOTOS

Removing the compressor

(1) Remove the top panel.
(2) Remove the service panel and release the gas.
(3) Remove the rear panel, and front panel.
(4) Disconnect the compressor linking connector. (See Photo

2.)

(5) Disconnect the following connectors from the outdoor

electronic control P.C. board. CN61, CN63, TAB91,CN641,
CN671, CN681, CN682, CN761, CN771,CN661,CN683.

(6) Disconnect the reactor lead wires from the te++ of

the diode stack (DS63) and from the te++ of the
capacitor (C67). (See Photo 3.)

Note: When pulling the wire, push the locking lever of the

terminal.

(7) Remove the inverter assembly.
(8) Remove the band that fixes the discharge pipe muffler.

(See Photo 4.)

(9) Remove the propeller fan.
(10) Remove the separator and support.
(11) Remove the reactor.
(12) Remove the terminal cover to disconnect the lead wires

from the compressor terminals.

(13) Detach the welded section of the compressor suction pipe

and discharge pipe. (See Photo 4.)

(14) Remove the compressor nuts to remove the compressor.

on the wiring diagram shows the terminals with a lock mechanism, so it

cannot be removed when you pull the lead wire be sure to pull the wire by
pushing the locking lever (projected part) of the terminal with a finger.
