Getting Started
Preparing the phone for
operation
Please refer to Preliminary operations,
page 3.
Basic Operations
Turning the phone on
If an image was set as a welcome anima-
tion, the mobile first requests for the pin
code, then shows the selected image be-
fore showing the standby display.
Making a call
The phone can make and receive
calls only when it is switched on,
when a valid SIM card is inserted
and when it is connected to a
GSM network service.
If the keypad is locked you can re-
ceive calls but you cannot make
any call (see Keypad lock, page 7).
To make a call:

How to hold
