drying and encrustation of surgical soil.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to saline to minimize the
chance of corrosion.
• Remove excessive soil with a disposable wipe.
PREPARATION FOR CLEANING
Disassemble for cleaning:
1. Remove Arc Attachment from Guide Block.
2. Loosen the screw on the Guide Block until you can
disengage the cover from the Guide Block.
3. Slide the Guide Block off the Guide Frame.
4. Loosen and remove the screw that holds the
Femoral Rod in place.
5. Remove the Femoral Rod from the Guide Frame.
6. Place all components into the proper tray for
cleaning and sterilization.
Instrument types with complex design features as
cannulations, lumens, (i.e. tubes), holes, hinged
joints, box locks, spring-loaded retractable features,
or flexible shafts; must be manually pre-cleaned prior
to automated cleaning to improve the removal of
adherent soil.

Cleaning Instructions
All Components:
1. Prepare an enzymatic cleaning solution in
accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Soak soiled instruments for minimum
recommended time specified by the enzymatic
cleaning solution manufacturer or five minutes,
whichever time is longer.
