Warning:
It is critical that the clevis pin in the downrod
support is properly installed and the set screws
and nuts are securely tightened. Failure to do so
could result in the fan dislodging from the mount
and falling down..
NOTE: All set screws must be checked,
and retightened where necessary, before
installation
Installing the Ceiling
mounting bracket
Securely attach the ceiling mounting bracket
to the ceiling near a supply wire and using the
mounting bracket screws and washers supplied
with the ceiling fan.
1. Choose a location for the fan which will
ensure adequate clearance from all objects
and walls and with blade height greater than
2.1 metres from the floor.

2. At the selected mounting position, check
whether there is a ceiling joist to which the
fan can be secured. If there is no suitable
support member, install a 45x90mm brace
between ceiling joists. Use the hanging
bracket as a template to mark the screw
holes positions and the center of the bracket.
Drill 25mm Dia. hole at the center mark
through both plaster and timber brace/Joist
for power supply cable to be fed through.
Drill 2 x 3.0mm pilot holes for the bracket
mounting screws. Attached the bracket and
secure with the 5.0 mm x 38mm screws ,
washers and leveling pads provided. (Fig.2)

NOTE: Ensure the mains power supplies
are switched OFF during installation. The
bracket screws (5x38mm 2pcs) provided
is for use with wooden structure only.
For structures, other than wood, the
appropriate screw type MUST be used.
The ceiling support member to which
the fan assembly is attached must be
able to support 44 Kg.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Means of disconnection must be
incorporated in the fixed wiring in
accordance with the wiring rules.
