Getting to Know Your
Ceiling Fan with Remote
Control
Congratulations on the purchase of your new
Ceiling Fan.
Before first using your new Ceiling Fan, it is
most important that you read and follow the
instructions in this use and care booklet, even
if you feel you are familiar with this type of
appliance.
Your attention is drawn particularly to the section
dealing with IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS. Find a
safe and convenient place to keep this booklet
handy for future reference.
This Ceiling Fan has been designed to operate
intended for Domestic use.
Your Ceiling Fan is safe and easy to use. It has
been designed to function quietly and safely
under normal circumstances. Your Ceiling Fan is
contemporary design. Its energy efficient blades
circulate cool air while using less power than
a standard light globe. The heavy-duty motor
is rated for continuous use to combat long hot
summers.
The diameter of fully assembled ceiling fan is
approximately 203 cm and can be attached
with 2 different length down rods in accordance
with the ceiling height and to ensure that
minimum height of 2.1 metres from floor is
maintained.
The ceiling fan is operated via remote control,
there is no need to install wall controller.
Assembly the downrod
of your ceiling fan
The ceiling fan has been pre-assembled with
the short (15cm) downrod. If required you can
change to fit the 30 cm downrod provided,
follow below steps to assembly. ( Fig.1 & 1a )
1. Remove the hanging ball portion from the
downrod on motor assembly by loose the set
screw in the hanger ball until the ball slides
freely down the downrod.
2. Remove the pin from the downrod,
then remove the hanging ball,ceiling
canopy,ceiling canopy support ring, and fan
motor cowl.
3. Remove the hairpin clip and clevis pin from
bolt screws in the bottom of the downrod.
4. Loosen the screw nut and flat washers,spring
washers from the the bolt screws.
5. Pull out the two bolts screws from the
downrod and downrod from motor
coupling,at the same time pull out the supply
wire from the downrod. Retain the hanging
ball, pin and clip and screw sets and motor
coupling cover for reinstallation.
WARNING: Do not damage the supply
wire while it be pull or pass through the
downrod.
6. Change over to the 30 cm downrod and
re-assemble in reverse order.
