BRAKE INSTRUCTIONS (CONT’D)
Find the Intelligent Electromagnetic Brake switch and perform the following functions:

Engage the Intelligent Electromagnetic Brake to operate the wheelchair with power. This will prevent the wheels from
being used in manual mode, as shown in
Figure L1
.

Disengage the Intelligent Electromagnetic Brake by moving the brake lever to manual mode. This will allow for manual
movement of the wheelchair, as shown in
Figure L2
.

To re-engage the Intelligent Electromagnetic Brake and move the wheelchair with electric power simply push the brake
switch forward engaging the Intelligent Electromagnetic Brake system.
