Driving in Reverse
When navigating the electric wheelchair in reverse, extra caution is advised. If the rear wheel hits an object, you
could lose control or tip the wheelchair over.
When driving in reverse always use the slowest speed setting.
Stop and frequently check to ensure nobody or any obstacles are in your path.
Driving around obstacles
Do not attempt to navigate the wheelchair up or down stairs or up and down escalators as serious injuries or death
could occur.
The electric wheelchair can be navigated into an elevator when the doors are open and ample time and door
clearance allow for safe passage.
If an elevator or ramp is not available, the wheelchair needs to be folded and safely carried to the preferred location.
