8 Remove the jammed media by
pulling it from the bottom of the
fuser (through the printer’s [and/or
the duplexer’s] rear cover), not
from the top of the fuser.
This prevents any unfused toner from
dirtying the fuser rollers.
Caution:
Be careful not to touch the
transfer drum while removing
jammed media.
9 Close the green fuser roller pressure release levers (one at each end of
the fuser).
10 Close the top cover of the printer.
11 Close the rear cover of the printer.
12 Slide the cassette(s) back into the printer.
