2 Installing and Starting Up the Server

2.1 Installing the Server

Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT 4.0 Platform

Open the PageScope self-extracting archive. This automatically
starts the installer.

Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the
installation.

Solaris Platform

Note

Extract the PageScope tar archive, which was compressed with
gzip, into the directory you want. This creates a directory named

PageScope

Execute the

install.sh

script, which is located in the

PageScope

directory.

Linux Platform

Note

Extract the PageScope tar archive, which was compressed with

Execute the
