Make sure that the distance between the
outside edge of the vehicle and the lamp
holder is now less than 380 mm.
Ø
Close the quick release devices.
8 Uninstalling
8.1 Inserting lamps
Ø Open the quick release devices.
Ø
Push the lamps inwards.
Ø
Close the quick release devices.
8.2 Folding in lamps
Ø
Fold in both lamps until they click into
place.
Ø
Check that the lamps are properly engaged.
8.3 Dismantling the carrier system
Ø
Remove the cover cap from the lock.
Ø
Put the key in the lock.
Ø Unlock the lock.
Ø
Pull the handle out of the large recess on
the left.
Ø
Swivel the handle along the cam disc into
the small recess on the right.
Ø
Check the marking on the handle.
Ø
The marking must indicate "RED".
Ø
Pull the e.base carrier system down from
the e.hit carrier system support arms.
Ø
Pull the handle out of the small recess on
the right.
Ø
Swivel the handle along the cam disc into
the large recess on the left.
Ø
Check the marking on the handle.
Ø
The marking must indicate "GREEN".
Ø
Lock the lock.
Ø
Remove the key.
Ø Press the cover cap onto the lock to protect
it from moisture and dirt.
