c. Slide the Base Plate (Item #12) into the Slide Plate.
d. Place the Lockwasher (Item #16) onto the Thumb
Screw (Item #14). Secure the plates with the
Lockwasher and Thumb Screw.

Installing the Slide Plate to Edge, Fortrex and Ultrex Motors
a. Take the Slide Plate (Item #10) and align the
mounting holes on the plate with the mounting holes
on the Base Extrusion. The mounting holes closest
to the short edge of the plate should face outboard.
NOTICE:
Place the stabilizer strap (if included with
your motor) between the Base Extrusion and the Outer
Plate. The strap must be located in the Relief Cut on the
motor mount or quick release failure may occur.

b. Using a #3 Screwdriver, fasten the Base Extrusion
to the Slide Plate with six 1/4” x 7/8” Pan Head
Screws (Item #2) and six Nylock Nuts (Item #6).
The Screws should pass through the Base Extrusion
and Slide Plate, then be secured by a Nylock Nut.
