5.2.9. Temperature
To look after your baby’s health it is very important for the room where he/she is located to be at
a suitable temperature.
Your baby monitor can help you to show the temperature of the baby’s room (in degrees
centigrade) at the parents’ unit, warning them whether the temperature is rising or falling outside
a defined range.
If the room temperature is 27°C or more, the temperature and the word HI will be shown
alternatively. The parents’ unit will emit a warning beep every 30 seconds.
If the room temperature is between 18°C and 26°C, the room temperature will be shown on the
display.
If the room temperature is 17°C or less, the temperature and the word LOW will be shown
alternatively. The parents’ unit will emit a warning beep every 30 seconds.
You can deactivate the warning by holding down the LOWER VOLUME button (7) for 5 seconds;
you will hear a beep telling you that it has been deactivated. If you wish to reactivate the warning,
hold down the LOWER VOLUME button (7) again for 5 seconds; you will hear two beeps
indicating that it has been activated.
NOTE: Temperature indicator in ZERO mode.
In this mode, there is no connection between the two units because no beacon signal is
sent. Due to this, the parent unit is not able to display the temperature of the baby unit
in real time.
Therefore, when the ZERO mode is selected, the parent unit will show the word ECO in the
display instead of the temperature.
5.2.10. Mode selection: zero emissions (ZERO) and low radiation (LOW)
The baby unit includes special transmission technology called Zero Emissions. When the baby
unit is in idle mode and no sound can be detected in the room where the baby unit is located, the
latter does not emit any radiation.
It is possible to choose the communication mode between the two units between Low Radiation
(LOW) or Zero Emissions (ZERO). With this in mind, keep the button (16) pressed in at the baby
unit for at least 5 seconds.
NOTE: Each time the units are turned off or turned on, the device will be reset to LOW
mode by default.
1) Zero emissions’ mode (ZERO)
Adjustment:
Check that the charging and on LED indicator (9) is lit up green as this means that the baby
monitor is configured in LOW mode (if it is lit up orange, nothing would need to be done as the
baby monitor would already be configured in ZERO mode). Press the button (16) at the baby
unit for at least 5 seconds to enable the ZERO mode. While pressing the button a beep that will
cease in a few seconds will be heard. Finally you will see that the LED (9) turns from green to
orange, indicating that the ZERO mode is active.
