Infrared Night Vision (Automatic)
· The infrared night vision of the camera is designed to allow the camera to pick up pictures
in the dark or places with very poor light.
· In this mode only a black and white image can be seen on the monitor and only objects
placed within 6ft/2m will be observed.
· The camera constantly monitors the light level by light sensor (7) and switches to the
infra-red mode automatically whenever there is insufficient light for normal vision so that you
don't need to risk disturbing your sleeping child.
Channel Selection (27)
· 4 channels are provided to enables you to have more than one Camera in use with the
same Intercom. You can switch channels on the Intercom by pressing the Channel button
(27) at the back of the Intercom. When Channel button is pressed once, it will change to
next channel. Select the channel (1, 2, 3 or 4) for the corresponding Camera that has been
assigned with that specific channel number. The Intercom and Camera is set on Channel 1
by manufacturer at factory.
Channel Matching (Synchronization)
This product is designed to Intercom different areas with up to 4 cameras (Channel 1, 2, 3 or
4 assigned to different cameras). The original Intercom and Camera are set on Channel 1 by
manufacturer at factory. If you need to add extra Camera for monitoring, you need to choose
a new channel to 'match' the new camera with existing Intercom.
· When you select this AUTO mode on the Camera and if there is no noise around the
camera, it will go onto standby using the minimum power and may appear to be turned
off but is in fact still turned on. The Intercom screen will turn off when the camera is not
transmitting.
· This mode is particularly useful at night as even though it is connected to the intercom no
sound is transmitted, helping you to sleep more easily. Whenever a noise is detected the
camera will resume the transmission of image and sound.
· Turn OFF both the Intercom and the NEW Camera first. Place them not more than 2 feet
apart.
SENSITIVITY SETTING
Some babies are louder than others! You can customize the sound sensitivity of your Baby
Monitor to suit your baby. Set the sensitivity “High” for a quiet sleeper with a soft cry and set to
“Low” sensitivity if they tend to make noise whilst sleeping or can make quite loud noises before
they are truly crying.
To set the sound sensitivity, at the Parent Unit:
- Press the MODE button (22) four times until you see “VOX” on the screen, and use the +/ keys
(18) to scroll to Low”, “Mid” or “High” as desired.
