Migatronic Focus ADF Welding and Grinding Helmet (ENGLISH)
MAINTENANCE
REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL
SHIELDING GLASS
•
Remove the 2 thumb screws, frame and filter,
then remove the external shielding glass from
the recess on the inside of the helmet.
•
Make sure the protective films are removed from
new external shielding glasses.
• Place the new external shielding glass in the
recess on the inside of the helmet, then replace
the frame, filter and thumb screws.
• Only use original Migatronic shielding glasses.
Use of lower-grade glasses may cause warping
and allow spatter to damage the filter, so
invalidating the warranty. This may also reduce
the impact rating.
NOTE –
Do not use the helmet without the
shielding glass in place
REPLACEMENT OF INTERNAL
SHIELDING GLASS
• Remove the internal shielding glass by pulling
out the top edge at the notch at the back of
the filter.
•
Mount the new internal shielding glass after you
have removed the protective film.
•
Insert the glass under the frame at one side,
bend the glass in the middle and place it under
the frame at the other side.
REPLACEMENT OF WELDING FILTER
•
Prise off the shade adjusting knob from
the outside of the helmet and unscrew the
locking nut.
•
Prise off the Weld / Grind knob then release the
control module.
•
Remove the 2 thumb screws and top frame.
•
Remove the filter and mount the new filter.
INSPECTION
•
Carefully inspect your Migatronic Auto Darkening
Welding Filter regularly.
•
Cracked or scratched filter glasses or shielding
glasses reduce the field of view and seriously
impair protection. They should be replaced
immediately to avoid damage to the eyes.
•
Inspect the complete helmet frequently and
replace any worn or damaged parts
CLEANING
• Clean the helmet with mild soap and a damp
cloth.
•
Clean the welding filter with clean lint-free tissue
or cloth.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Do not use solvents.
