Electrical connection U.K.
All electrical work must be carried out
by a suitably qualified and competent
person, in strict accordance with na-
tional and local safety regulations.
Ensure power is not supplied to the ma-
chine while installation work is being
carried out.
The voltage, rated load and fuse rating
are given on the data plate. Please en-
sure these match the site mains supply.
This washer-extractor is supplied as
standard for connection to either:
– 230 - 240 V / 1N / 50 Hz
13 A fuse rating
with a cable and plug for connection
to a suitable switched socket.
or
– 230 - 240 V / 1 N / 50 Hz,
30 A fuse rating
single phase supply for connection
to a suitable isolator.
or:
– 400 V /
2 phase + N
/ 50 Hz
2 x 15 A fuse rating
for connection to a suitable isolator.
or:
– for off-shore use, WSE 5425
for connection to a suitable isolator.
The machine is not convertible.
Connection of single and two
phase machines:
– 230 - 240 V / 1 N / 50 Hz
(30 amp fuse rating U.K.)
– 400 V /
2 phase + N
/ 50 Hz
(2 x 15 amp fuse rating U.K.)
Connection should be made via a suit-
able isolator which complies with na-
tional and local safety regulations, and
the on/off switch should be easily ac-
cessible for servicing work.
For extra safety it is advisable to install
a residual current device (RCD) with a
trip current of 30 mA (in accordance
with DIN VDE 0664, VDE 0100 Section
739).
When switched off there must be an
all-pole contact gap of 3 mm in the iso-
lator switch (including switch, fuses and
relays acc. to VDE 0660).
Important

400 V 2 phase
connection, the ma-
chine is supplied with a
4-core
cable in
the following colours:
Black = live
