Thermo-electric flame failure
monitor

Your hob is equipped with a thermo-
electric flame failure monitor. If a gas
flame is extinguished, e.g. by food
boiling over or by a draught, the gas
supply is switched off. This prevents the
release of gas. If you turn the rotary
control to the



position, the burner is

ready for use again.

The thermo-electric flame failure
monitor operates independently from
the electricity supply. This means that
it will still work if the hob is used
during a power cut.
