With the aid of the following guide, most minor problems can be corrected without
contacting Miele. You can save time and money in many cases, as you do not
need to call the Miele Customer Service Department.
The following guide should help you to find the reason for a malfunction or fault,
and to correct it. You should, however, note the following:
Repairs must only be carried out by the Miele Customer Service
Department, an authorised Miele dealer or a suitably qualified technician in
accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorised or incorrect
repairs can cause considerable danger to users.

Insert the plug and switch on at the socket.
The fuse has tripped.
Reset the trip switch in the mains fuse box or
replace the fuse in the plug (minimum fuse rating -
see data plate).
The dishwasher stops
during a programme
The fuse has tripped.
Reset the trip switch in the mains fuse box or
replace the fuse in the plug (minimum fuse rating -

If the mains fuse trips again, call the Miele Service
Department.
The door locking pins
do not retract after the
door has opened auto-
matically.
There is a fault with the door mechanism or the door
has not been correctly balanced
Call Miele Service.
The dishwasher can only be used again with the
AutoOpen function switched off. There is a danger
of injury in the unlikely event of a fault with the
opening mechanism.
