Cleaning and care

37

When to clean

A two-piece fluff filter in the air supply
area collects all fluff generated during
the drying process.

Failure to clean the filter regularly could
increase drying times.

Fire hazard due to irregular main-

tenance.
Too many fluff deposits in the fluff fil-
ter and tumble dryer will result in a
risk of fire.
Check the fluff filter and air duct area
on a regular basis. Always clean the
filter if you find any fluff deposits.

Damage caused by a missing or

damaged fluff filter.
Too many fluff deposits in the fluff fil-
ter and tumble dryer will result in a
risk of appliance malfunctions and a
risk of fire.
Never use the tumble dryer without
the fluff filter. Always replace a dam-
aged fluff filter immediately.

Always clean the appliance when this
instruction appears in the display:

Clean the fluff filter and rinse the plinth fil-
ter.
