Appliance fault

In the event of damage or any
breakages or cracks the ceramic

hob must be switched off immediately
and disconnected from the electricity
supply. Contact the Service Depart-
ment. Ensure the hob is not recon-
nected and do not use the hob until the
damaged ceramic plate has been re-
placed. Continued use would be dan-
gerous as liquids etc. boiling over
could penetrate to the electrical compo-
nents through any crack.

Ensure that the appliance is dis-
connected from the electricity sup-

ply before any servicing or repair work.

Any repairs may only be carried
out by suitably qualified and com-

petent persons to ensure safety. Re-
pairs and other work by unqualified per-
sons could be dangerous. Under no
circumstances open the outer casing
of the appliance.

While the appliance is under guar-
antee repairs should only be under-

taken by a service engineer authorised
by the manufacturer. Otherwise the
guarantee is invalidated.
