Ceramic hob
These hobs are classified as ,,Y“ class
for heat protection. There may be a wall
at the rear and wall or tall units at one
side. On the other side, however, no
unit or divider must stand higher than
the hob.
Due to the heat radiated from the
hob unit, it is essential that the fol-
lowing minimum distances are main-
tained:
– 40 mm between the worktop cut-
out and adjacent kitchen units
(e. g. tall unit),
– 50 mm between the worktop
cut-out and the rear wall.

The template supplied must be used
when making the worktop cut-out for
a hob with rounded edges.

Prepare the worktop cut-out as
