Description of the hob
Cooking zones - diameters
The cooking zones are clearly marked
on the hob surface.
Only the particular zone which has
been switched on will be heated. The
rest of the hob surface remains rela-
tively cool.
Residual heat indicator
There is an indicator light for each
cooking zone in the hob display field.
When a cooking zone is switched on its
indicator lights up.
This also serves as a
residual heat in-
dicator
, which stays on after the cook-
ing zone has been switched off, and
only goes out when this area of the ce-
ramic surface has reached a tempera-
ture safe to touch.
Extended cooking zones
•
Use the corresponding cooking zone
control to switch on the extended zone.
There is an indicator light in the hob dis-
play field for each extended cooking
zone. This lights up when the cooking
zone extension is switched on.
Turn the control in a clockwise direc-
tion until a resistance is felt. Other-
wise it can be damaged.
Turn the control clockwise beyond
setting 12 to the symbol "

allow to spring gently back.
Then turn to the setting required.
Turning the control back to "0"
– switches off the cooking zone,
