Notes on using these programmes
When using the automatic
programmes the recipes
provided in
this booklet
are designed as an
orientation guide only.
You can use them for other similar
recipes, including those using
different quantities.
The oven interior should be at room
temperature before starting an Auto-
matic programme. If it is too warm
results could be impaired.
In the
MW cook automatic
programme
food is cooked using
microwave power. This is particularly
suitable for cooking food, such as:
– Fish, poultry or meat in sauce, which
do not require a crisp crust
– Casseroles, soup,
– Vegetables,
– Fruit.
After selecting a programme, enter the
weight of the food. The cooking
duration which has been allocated to
that weight will be adopted
automatically.
Some programmes
require a pre-
heating phase before food is placed in
the oven. A prompt will appear to tell
you when to add the food.
For
frozen food
follow the instructions
in the display.
Once an automatic programme has
been run
you can save it to the main
menu as a user programme.
Defrosting tips
When defrosting a large amount of
food which has been wrapped in
individual portions, enter a lower
total weight than the weight of all the
portions together. This will give a
more even result.
Example:
1.5 kg sliced steak packed into 3
individual 500 g portions
Enter weight as: 1000 g instead of
1500 g
