Reheating
The steam oven can be used to reheat
dishes.

Place the food on a flat plate and
cover it with a deeper plate or
aluminum foil.

Select REHEAT.

Select a time of between 5-8 minutes,
depending on the type of food.

Blanching
The steam oven can also be used to
blanch vegetables to prepare them for
freezing.
^
Put the prepared vegetables
(cleaned, washed, chopped etc.) into
a perforated cooking container.
^
Place the container on the rack in the
oven and insert the drip tray at the
lowest level.
^
Blanch using COOK Universal at a
temperature of 195 °F (90 °C).
^
Set a time of 1-2 minutes.

Once blanched, plunge the
vegetables into cold water to cool
quickly. You can then freeze them
when they have dried thoroughly.
