Noises
When using an induction burner, the
following noises can occur in the pan,
depending on what it is made of and
how it is constructed.
– Higher power settings may cause a
buzz. This will decrease or cease
altogether when the power setting is
reduced.
– If the pan base is made of layers of
different materials (e.g. a
sandwiched base), a cracking sound
may be heard.
– You may hear a clicking sound from
the electronic switches, especially on
lower settings.
The appliance has a cooling fan to help
extend the life of the electronics. When
the combiset is being used at high
levels for a long period of time, this will
come on and you will hear a whirring
sound. The fan may continue to run
after the appliance has been switched
off.
