General problems or an unsatisfactory wash result.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The machine shakes
during the spin
cycle. The machine feet are not
resting evenly on the
floor. Level the machine (see
"Installation").
The laundry is not
spun satisfactorily. The spin speed selected
was too low. Select a higher spin speed
next time.
The pump makes
strange noises. These do not indicate a fault. They occur at the end of a
pump sequence as a normal part of the operation.
The programme
selector light ring
does not come on. The machine has switched off the light ring to save
energy. To switch the light ring back on again: press one
of the additional option buttons or turn the programme
selector.
Large amount of
detergent residues
remain in the
detergent dispenser
drawer. The water pressure is too
low. – Clean the filter in the water
inlet.
Powder detergent used in
conjunction with water
softeners tends to
become sticky. In future add washing powder
into the dispenser drawer first,
and then add the water
softener.
Fabric conditioner
is not completely
dispensed or too
much water remains
in the
§
compartment.
The siphon tube is either
incorrectly positioned or
clogged. Clean the siphon, see
“Cleaning and care - Cleaning
the detergent dispenser
drawer”.
When laundry is dry
it feels hard to the
touch. Too vigorous wash
action. Programme in gentle action
and more water.
Not enough detergent
used. Increase detergent dose to
prevent limescale build up in
laundry.
No fabric conditioner
used. Use fabric conditioner in last
rinse.
