Your machine also has the following
special programmes in addition to the
standard Cottons and Minimum iron
programmes.
Special programmes
– H
This programme kills germs and
household dust mites. The holding
time at a temperature of 60°C in the
main wash is increased.
– First wash
Use this programme to wash any
chemical residues out of new
garments.
– Pillows
This programme will remove dust
mites and dust mite faeces from
pillows.
– Silks
/
Hand-washable fabrics which crease
easily but do not contain wool can be
washed in the Silks
/
programme.
– Woollens
/
Hand-washable or machine-
washable wool or wool blend fabrics
can be washed in the
Woollens
/
programme. If the garment care label
does not specify a temperature,
wash using the cold setting.
Delicates and Silks
/
programmes
In these programmes, the laundry is
washed and spun very gently to reduce
creasing and the amount of ironing
required, thus providing "easy care" for
your laundry.
Load size indicator
The washing machine is equipped with
a sensor which registers how much
laundry is in the drum. This is displayed
as a % figure.
Recommended detergent dose
indicator
In certain programmes, when a
minimum amount of laundry is loaded
into the drum, the washing machine will
indicate a recommended reduced
amount of detergent, as a % figure.
This is a % of the total amount
recommended by the detergent
manufacturer for a full load of laundry.
Rinse plus
If the Rinse plus option is selected, a
fourth rinse is introduced in the
