Insert the other end of the spit rod into the spit support previously mounted on the left-hand side of the
compartment.

Pour some water into the dripping pan and place it on the first level so as to collect the cooking fats.

Take the accessories and removable shelf supports out of the appliance.

Clean the appliance before using it for the first time. Place the accessories and removable shelf supports
in their initial position

Preheat the appliance with nothing inside it in order to burn off fat residues.

Set the function and the maximum temperature.

Leave the appliance in operation for one hour.
