3.8 The Rotisserie and its use
•
The Rotisserie can be used to cook roasts and large pieces of poultry with excellent results; the meat is
roasted thoroughly and evenly.
•
The rotisserie function can only be activated when the Function selector is in one of the 3 Grill positions
Preparation:
•
Place the food in the middle of the spit rod and secure it at its ends with the forks provided or
alternatively with string.
•
For poultry, tie the ends of the wings so that they do not overlap the back and the thighs against the
body; this will prevent them from becoming too dark and burnt.
•
Pierce the skin of the wings so as to allow the fat to flow out.
Positioning the rotisserie rod in the oven:
•
Take the rod support (image
•
alongside) and place it
•
at the top of the Left Shelf
•
Support as inthe images below.
TELESCOPIC RAILS (optional: only for some models)
•
The oven is equipped with telescopic rails for positioning either the wire Rack or the dripping pan
(Fig. a)
•
You can change the position of the rail and move it onto every level of the shelf support according to the
type of food to be cooked (Fig. b)
