If burner flame is extinguished during any of the above tests, or if the
flames are unacceptably large at the lowest setting, adjust the low flame
setting accordingly as follows:
• Light all surface burners. Set all burners at
the highest setting except the one being
adjusted. Set the burner being adjusted
to the lowest setting.
• Remove the knob by pulling firmly straight
out on knob.
• Insert a small, flat-blade screwdriver into
the valve shaft, fit tip of screwdriver into
small screw head at base of valve shaft.
• Hold the valve shaft with one hand to prevent it from turning, while
turning the screwdriver to adjust flame height. (CCW increases flow,
CW decreases flow)
• Repeat for any burners requiring calibration at the lowest setting.
• When adjustment is complete, repeat the full burner operation testing
described above
Depending on the model, the oven will have one of the following control
types:
Oven Operation:
Check the operation of oven bake and broil burners after the range has
been installed and assembled, gas supply lines have been carefully
checked for leaks, and electrical power cord has been plugged in.
Oven burners use electronic spark ignition with flame detection.
The spark igniter is on the left side of the burner. The flame detection
sensor is on the right side of the burner.
Oven burners do not have adjustable air shutters and do not require
any adjustment.
