2.2.1 Grounding the Equipment Rack
The equipment rack must be connected to the station ground using a #6 copper wire or
equivalent. The ground wire should be routed in as straight and direct a route as is practical.
Caution:
Grounding the equipment rack is mandatory.
2.3 Rack Installation
The unit mounts within a standard 19 inch equipment rack. The unit occupies a height of 1
rack units (1RU). The unit attaches to the equipment rack using four 12–24 mounting
screws. See
Figure 2-2 for the correct mounting hole locations.
