Install the rear waste ink tank 7.
– Replace the yellow tank cap and reattach the
tank to the mounting bracket using the two screws. Reattach the tube using
the connector. Slide the tank into the printer and secure it by tightening the
thumbscrew.
Insert the printer tray foam support 8. – Position the printer tray foam support
under the tray so that the long end is under the tray, and the tray is in the slot in
the foam piece.
Bag and pack the printer 9.
– Place the unit in its plastic bag and then settle the
printer into the bottom of the foam packaging cradle. Next, push the top of the
foam packaging cradle onto the printer so that it fits snugly.
Box up the printer 10.
– Place the cradle into the box. The original packaging
includes a separate long box to store cable or accessories. Put any cables and
accessories in the long box and fit it into the top of the foam cradle. Close the
main box and secure it with strong packing tape.
