7. Measures for Transport and Shipping (Repacking)
7.1. Preparation for Short-Range Transportation
Before moving the printer (via hand-carry), you have to start a printer menu
function to prepare the transport.
Please read section 4.9.3.1 Preparing for Transport and follow the
instructions to prepare the transport.
7.2. Preparation for Long-Range Transportation
Before moving the printer (for example via vehicles or planes), the full
preparation is required.
All operations decribed in the following should only be done by a trained
operator or service engineer.
7.2.1. Clean-Out
The following objects are required:
• Cleaning kit (compare the following picture. Please contact your
supplier for the cleaning kit.)
