4.6. Switch Settings

Basic

Description: Display the name of device type.

MAC Address: The unique hardware address assigned by manufacturer (default)

Firmware Version: Display the device’s Firmware version.

Hardware version: Display the device’s Hardware version.

Default config value version: Display write to default EEPROM value table

version.

Advanced

Miscellaneous Settings

Mac Address Age-out Time:

Setting the time for inactive MAC address

remains in the Switch’s address table.

Max bridge transit delay bound control:

Limit the packets queuing time in MANAGED

SWITCH. If this function is enable, the packets

queued exceed will be dropped.

Broadcast Storm Filter:

To configure broadcast storm control, enable it

and set the upper threshold for individual ports.

The threshold is the percentage of the port's

total bandwidth used by broadcast traffic. When

broadcast traffic for a port rises above the

threshold you set, broadcast storm control

becomes active.
