6. Digital Signals
The μCAN.8.dio-BOX has eight digital I/O terminals. The termi-
nal blocks are labeled with "
I/O_1 " to " I/O_8 " from left to right
on the PCB.
Please keep the basics of EMI rules in mind when planning the
wiring. Only proper wiring and EMI precautions make sure that
the module runs without trouble.
6.1 Function principle / High Side Version
Configuration of each terminal (Input or Output) is performed
via CANopen. In "Digital Input" mode the Power-MOSFET is al-
ways off. The input voltage at the terminal is compared with a
reference voltage, which is set to
V+PWR / 2 (level is 50% of the
output stage supply voltage).
