Write Protection Filter
In Windows 10, you can assign a write protection filter to individual drives.
The operating system and TIM Connect software are saved on drive C. Below are steps you can perform to
assign a write protection filter to that drive.
By default, the Unified Write Filter (UWF) is disabled. To enable UWF in Windows 10, proceed as follows:
Open
System control
>
Programs and Features
>
Turn
Windows-Features on or off

To do so, you need administrator rights.
Enable
Unified Write Filter
under
Device Lockdown
