Sleep function:
Pressing the "Sleep" key activates the sleep function. In this case, the heating carpet is operated with lower
power or temperature (28 ± 5°C). The timer function for automatically switching off the carpet also
remains active and automatically switches off the carpet depending on the selected time. When the sleep
function is active, the LED to the right of the sleep button lights up.
Switch off:
The carpet is switched off by pressing the red switch again. The power LED of the switch and the LEDs for
the timer time and the power level go out. Now the Euro mains plug can be disconnected from the power
supply.
NOTE: Before the heating carpet is rolled up and stored away, it must have cooled down completely.
Cleaning the heating carpet:
1.
Disconnect the heating carpet from the power supply.
2.
Wait until the carpet has cooled down completely.
3.
The heating carpet may only be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth or a soft brush. The heating
carpet must be completely dry before it is used again.
4.
The control unit and cables may only be cleaned with a dry and soft cloth.
IMPORTANT:
•
No moisture may penetrate the control unit or the cable.
•
The heating carpet must not be immersed in water or other liquids.
•
No cleaning agents, solvents or scouring agents may be used.
Storage of the heating mat:
NOTE: We recommend cleaning the heating mat as described below before storing it for a longer period of
time.
1.
Spread the completely cooled heating mat out on a flat, clean and dry surface with the
underside (fabric/nap side) facing downwards.
2.
Roll up the heating mat with the fleece surface now facing upwards, starting from the cable
connection side. As no belt is included with the 55x50cm heating carpet, it is not stored rolled
up.
3.
Place the transport belt around the rolled-up carpet. Pull the end of the belt through the buckle
and press the Velcro surfaces together.
4.
Store the rolled-up heating mat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
