4.5. General specifications
The power generator 14 SS cube consists of the following components:
• Petrol engine
• Three-phase synchronous generator
• Base frame
• Control box
• Fuel tank
• Acoustic enclosure
4.6. Scope of delivery
The power generator is supplied with operating manuals for the power generator and drive engine. It
is also supplied with a tool kit containing the following items:
2x spare spark plugs, 1x spark plug wrench, 1x screwdriver, 1x wire brush, 1x test lead for the protec-
tive earth test system and 2 open-jaw spanners for 10, 11 and 13 across flats.
Other accessories are not included as standard.
4.7. Technical description
4.7.1. General specifications
The petrol-engine three-phase power generator is installed on a base frame. The engine hood can
be swung up for maintenance access. Operation of the power generator is performed via an digital
controlling.
4.7.2. Connection sockets
Voltages of 400 V / 50 Hz are available via the 2 CEE 400 V sockets (item 16-2). Voltages of 230V / 50 Hz
are available via the 3 isolated ground sockets (item 16-6).
If extension cables or mobile distribution networks are used, the following rules apply:
Overall length of the conductor extension network:
• max. 60 m at 1.5 mm
• max.100 m at 2.5 mm
NOTE
The loop impedance, i.e. the sum of all connected cables as defined by ISO 8528-8, must be
no greater than 1.5 Ω. Recommendation: Use only tested extension cables.
4.7.3. Protection of the connection outlets
The CEE sockets (item 20-2) are protected by automatic circuit-breakers (item 22-2).
The shuttered sockets (item 20-6) are protected by automatic circuit-breakers (items 22-3, 22-4
and 22-5).
