4 . 6. 1 V.24 Terminal Cable 25 Way to 25 Way
A full RS232 connection via a 25-way cable is shown below:

Note: To inhibit the modem control function for reasons explained earlier in this section, loop
pins 4 and 6 at DSU end of cable.
4 . 6. 2 Minimum RS232 connection
A cable to connect a local terminal to this port (without a modem) may have the minimum
RS232 connection when this is suitable for the terminal being used, as shown below.
