4.3. Erasing of stored results
Two modes of erasing stored results are available namely:
• All stored results can be erased in one step
•
A certain stored result only can be erased
How to erase all stored results in one step?
Change function switch position in order to exit any potentially started operation
(recalling, storing test result …), then press the
CLR key,
Clr
ALL message starts to
blink. Confirm erasing, pressing the CLR key again, all stored results will be erased.
How to erase a certain stored result only?
Recall a certain result to be erased, following the procedure described in paragraph
4.2. Recalling of stored results .
Press the
CLR key,
Clr
message starts to blink. Confirm erasing, pressing the CLR
key again. Only result, displayed before CLR key was pressed, will be erased.
Function number of the next stored result will be offered to be erased. The procedure
may be repeated, in order to erase other stored results too.
4.4. RS 232 communication
Stored results can be transferred to PC, where final test protocol will be formed.
PC SW
Instal – Link (enclosed in Standard set) is needed for this operation.
How to transfer stored results?
• Connect the Instaltest 61557 to PC as shown on the figure below.

Install and run PC SW Instal – Link .

Set the Instaltest 61557 to RS232 mode, pressing the RS232 key. rS indication
will be displayed.

Use Instal – Link commands on PC, to transfer stored results from

Instaltest 61557 to PC and later to form final test protocol.
