• Tighten terminal

• Stale (old) or contaminated fuel.

• Fuel valve is in the “OFF”

position

• Clogged fuel filter

• Loose spark plug

• Spark plug fouled or defective.

• Spark plug gap is incorrect

• Spark plug cap is not attached

• Trying to start engine

while applying throttle

• Low compression

• Problem with the electrical

system

• Place ignition switch to

the “ON” position.

• Clean or replace air filter

• Fill with fresh fuel

• Have a service center flush

and fill with fresh fuel.

• Place fuel valve in the

“ON” position.

• Replace fuel filter

• Tighten spark plug

• Clean or replace plug

• Gap the plug

• Attach spark plug cap

• Do not apply throttle
