STARTING ENGINE
To start the engine
1. Before starting the engine, ALWAYS
REVIEW THE PRE RIDE INSPECTION
PROCEDURES LISTED IN THIS MANUAL
2. Make sure parking brake lever(1) is set
before attempting to start the engine.
3. Place the fuel valve (2) in the “ON”
position
4. Place ignition switch (3) in the (on)
position.
5. Depress foot brake (4)
6. Turn ignition key (5) to the right to
activate starter motor.
Note: Do not activate the starter motor
more than 5 seconds at a time, doing so
could damage the starter.
Note: Do not depress the gas pedal while
starting engine, doing so will
disengage the choke making it difficult for
engine to start
7. Once engine has started, allow engine
to warm up 3 to 5 minutes before
operating.

Inhaling exhaust fumes from the
Go Kart can cause severe injury or
death
Never start or run the Go Kart in an
inclosed environment where there
is no ventilation. Always start and
run outdoors.
