7.1.

Serial Interface

The serial interface to the GT-526S is through either the mini-USB or the 9 pin (DB-9)
connector. They are located on the right hand side of the instrument as shown below.

Communication with the GT-526S through the RS-232 DB-9 port requires a custom
serial cable (PN3228).

Standard serial cables will not work and may cause damage to

the instrument if connected

.
