SNMP
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is an Internet standard protocol on top of application layer that
restructures the exchange of management information among network-attached nodes, which helps
administrators to remotely manage network devices and master network problems with ease.

 SNMPv1 Enable
Select ON or OFF to enable or disable the SNMP V1 function.
 SNMPv2/v2c Enable
Select ON or OFF to enable or disable the SNMP V2 function.
 SNMPv3 Enable
Select ON or OFF to enable or disable the SNMP V3 function.
 V3
 User Name: Type the SNMP user name in the User Name field.
 Authentication Mode: Select the encryption algorithm for authentication from the Authentication
drop-down menu: None, MD5, or SHA.
 Authentication Password: If you use authentication method MD5 or SHA, type a password in the text
box to the right of the selected Authentication encryption.
 Privacy Mode: Select the privacy encryption algorithm setting from the Privacy drop-down menu:
None, DES, or AES.
 Privacy Password: If you use privacy method DES or AES, type a password in the text box to the
right of the selected Privacy encryption.
