2.2.3 Connecting the wires
Power
 AC 24V: Connect the power terminals with AC 24V power source.

PoE+: Connect the RJ-45 jack to a PoE compatible network device that supplied power through the
Ethernet cable.
Note Please make sure the power source is AC 24V / PoE+. Although the camera can be powered
via
a PoE+ connection, the PoE+ power source will not be able to drive the camera with its
equipped heater being operating simultaneously. Users are supposed only to supply the
camera with AC24V continuously for the heater inside the camera to operate.
Control
Connecting the control input to the terminals GND and Alarm in, Alarm out, Audio in, Default, and Reset.
Network
Using an Ethernet cable, connect one end to the RJ-45 jack of the unit and the other to the LAN port of the
network device, such as a hub, a switch, or a router, on your local network. You can also connect the unit‟s
RJ-45 jack directly to a computer since the unit supports auto MDI/MDIX (Medium dependent interface
crossover) and there is no cross-over cable required.
