Re:

Over-torquing the screws, securing the I/O board standoffs to
the motherboard, in Megatouch XL games.

When reinstalling the I/O board on any XL game, be extremely
careful not to over-tighten the screws securing the I/O board
standoffs. Over-tightening can cut traces on the board, causing
the board to short out when power is applied.

Merit recommends no more than 9 in./lb. of torque for tightening
the screws. It is also necessary to replace the existing sems
screws (screws with star washers) with #6-32 x 1/4 machine
screws (screws without star washers).
