11.0 Warranty
Products manufactured by Meridian Technologies, Inc. are covered by a two- year
warranty against defects in materials, workmanship, and published specifications. This
warranty period starts upon field installation of the units. During the warranty period,
Meridian Technologies will repair or replace, at its option, defective units provided they
are returned to an authorized Meridian Technologies repair facility. Products that have
been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, or unauthorized repair, determined
at the sole discretion of Meridian Technologies are excluded from warranty coverage.
Other products and accessories not manufactured by Meridian Technologies are limited
to the warranty provided by the original manufacturer.
The buyer should notify Meridian Technologies, Inc. promptly in writing of any claim
based upon warranty, and Meridian Technologies, Inc., at its option, may first inspect
such goods at the premises of the Buyer, or may give written authorization to Buyer to
return the goods to Meridian Technologies. Meridian Technologies shall not be liable for
any inspection, packing or labor costs in connection with the return of goods.
To return a product, obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from the Customer
Service Department. If the product’s warranty has expired, you will need to provide a
purchase order to authorize the repair. When returning a product for a suspected failure ,
please provide a description of the problem and any results of diagnostic tests that have
been conducted. The shipping expense to Meridian Technologies , Inc. should be prepaid.
The product should be properly packed and insured . After repairs have been completed,
Meridian Technologies, Inc. will ship the product back to the Buyer at Seller’s expense.
