General safety information

General safety information

The use of symbols and their
meanings

Safety precautions and other important
information are highlighted by symbols.
In addition to the instructions provided
herein, all generally applicable safety and
accident prevention regulations must
also be observed, e.g. in Germany, the
rules and regulations of the institutions
for statutory accident insurance and pre-
vention.
Instructions and information printed on
the packaging for components, tools and
service products must also be observed.
Where information and instructions are
to be observed, it is assumed that the
user information is intended for persons
who are suitably qualified to carry out
the tasks by nature of their education,
training and experience.
These persons should, at the same time,
be able to identify risks that may arise in
the undertaking of their tasks and take
the necessary measures to avoid them.
