Driver's area controls

Steering column switch for light and wiper functions

headlamps switched on)

Headlamp flasher: Pull the
stalk upwards

Indicate right with automatic
reset: Press the switch stalk
beyond the pressure point
until it engages in position.

Note:

One-touch indicators for a

sleeve on the switch stalk
inwards towards the steer-
ing column. With windscreen
wipers switched off = wind-

Windscreen wipers: Turn the
sleeve on the switch stalk:
Speed 0 = OFF. Speed. . .
. .= Slow intermittent wipe
or wiping with rain sensor.
Speed......= Rapid intermit-
tent wipe or wiping with rain
sensor. Speed I = Slow con-
tinuous wiping. Speed II =
Rapid continuous wiping.

Caution:

Switch stalk position. . . .
: If the rain sensor is active,
the windscreen wiper may
switch on inadvertently if dirt
were to settle on the wind-
screen in dry weather. The
windscreen wiper blades or
the windscreen itself could
then be damaged by dry wip-
ing. Keep the windscreen
wipers switched off in dry
weather.

Note:

Switch stalk position . . . .
