radar sensors are integrated behind the
bumpers and/or behind the radiator grill.
Some driving and driving safety systems use
cameras as well as radar or ultrasonic sensors
to monitor the area in front of, behind or next to
the vehicle.
Keep the areas around the sensors and cameras
free of dirt, ice or slush (

eras and sensors must not be covered, for exam‐
ple by bicycle racks, overhanging loads, stickers,
