! Make sure that the seat belt does not
become trapped when folding the rear seat
backrest back. Otherwise, it could be dam-
aged.
Rear bench seat
X Move the driver's or front-passenger seat
forward if necessary.

Fold rear seat backrest

tion of the arrow until it engages.

Check whether the backrest is engaged cor-
rectly.

Adjust the head restraint if necessary.
X Move the driver's or co-driver's seat back if
necessary.
Rear bench seat with partition grille

X Move the driver's or co-driver's seat forward if

Pull back on loop

WARNING
If the seat is folded up it does not engage. The
seat may fold down suddenly, e.g. when accel-
erating, braking, or in the event of a sudden
change of direction or an accident. People
within the sweep of the seat may become
trapped. There is a risk of injury.
Always fold down a seat that has been folded
upwards before pulling away. Ensure that the
seat and seat backrest are engaged.
